ACBC spreads fire prevention education through a fire safety truck at events and school presentations to inform and empower people, reducing fire-related accidents. Book our fire safety truck or a firefighter for an informative session on fire education!

Burn Survivors Camps

Aluminum Recycling

ACBC recycles donated aluminum cans from Cleveland and suburbs, making a big impact on the environment, funding fire safety education and pediatric burn survivors' well-being. Join us—every can counts!

We're Restoring a Firehouse for Burn Survivors

ACBC has purchased historic Engine House No. 3 in Lakewood — a 1927 firehouse with deep roots in the community — and we need your help to bring it back to life. Once restored, it will serve as ACBC's permanent headquarters and a year-round sanctuary where pediatric burn survivors can gather, connect, and find support beyond the summer camp season.

This is the biggest project in our nearly 40-year history, and it only happens with the generosity of people like you.

We Have Can Recycling Bins All Over Northeast Ohio

Local firefighter stations have embraced the mission of ACBC by installing can recycling bins, making it convenient for community members to donate and support the cause.

With drop sites strategically scattered throughout the area, finding a nearby aluminum can drop site is effortless, and businesses eager to contribute can easily become partners by discovering how to become a designated drop site.

Our Campers, the Reason For Our Mission

All of the money we raise goes toward creating a safe, comfortable environment for pediatric burn survivors. The camps and activities we provide offer them a place to be themselves, meet others like them, and create lasting connections.
