Help Increase Our Impact
ACBC only works with your help. Our goal is spread fire prevention education throughout Northeast Ohio. By educating the community, we hope to reduce the number of fires throughout the area and completely stop the pain and damage caused to adults and children.
- We earn money with the donated aluminum cans collected at our drop sites.
- We build awareness with our ACBC Fire Safety Houses and Programs.
- We strengthen the community through our partnerships with local fire houses.
- We support pediatric burn survivors and their families by sponsoring Camp Phoenix.
But we also need you. Whether you collect cans or make an outright gift, your generosity is deeply appreciated. You allow us to make a difference.
Volunteer with ACBC
We are looking for volunteers for every 2026 Cleveland Guardians home game! We've partnered with Progressive Field to collect aluminum cans during games and increase our recycling efforts.
What to do:
- Grab a group of your friends and family (up to 5 people per game) and make it fun!
- Volunteers must arrive 1 hour before first pitch and stay at least 1 hour after the last out.
- Duties are emptying the ACBC cans throughout the lower concourse and collecting cans from the empty lower sections after the game.

Local Businesses Make a Difference
Unite your team and help employees to give back to their community. There are a number of ways Cleveland area companies can get involved with ACBC.
- Raise money to sponsor a pediatric burn survivor's time at Camp Phoenix.
- Request aluminum can recycling bin(s) for your building or campus.
- Host a monthly aluminum can drive or contest.
- Sign up to have an ACBC Fire House at your next company picnic or event.

Request ACBC Recycling Bins
Becoming a company recycling partner or hosting aluminum can recycling bins at your event helps bring awareness to ACBC's mission, funds fire safety education in Northeast Ohio, sends pediatric burn survivors to camp and helps us save the planet. All without any cost to you!
ACBC’s collection services are free to its corporate and community partners. We provide cardboard collection bins, lids, decals, and multiple bin liners. When your bins are close to full, request a pick-up. Our drivers will collect the cans directly from the bins or a designated spot—usually within a week or less. Regular pick-ups can be scheduled depending on your needs.
